The intimate Showcase Theater seats up to 309 people. No seat is more than 45 feet from the stage.

Getting here

The Showcase Theater is located at the end of Avenue of the Flags, past the Veterans' Memorial Auditorium.

Driving

  • Travel to Highway 101 and travel southbound
  • Take the Freitas Parkway exit
  • Turn left at the stoplight at the end of the freeway off ramp
  • Travel over the freeway on the overpass
  • Immediately after the overpass, turn left (tip: watch for cross traffic)
  • Turn right immediately onto Civic Center Drive
  • Avenue of the Flags will be the second street on your left after crossing the train tracks

  • Travel to Highway 101 and head northbound
  • Take the North San Pedro exit
  • Take the first right on the freeway off ramp headed east
  • Turn left at the first stoplight onto Civic Center Drive
  • Follow Civic Center Drive past the roundabout
  • Avenue of the Flags will be the first right 

Free parking is available in the parking lot next to the Showcase Theater.

  • Use 511 to plan your trip to the Marin Center using public transportation
  • Golden Gate Transit offers bus service to the Marin Center and County Fairgrounds 

Seating

There are 280 fixed seats in the Showcase Theater. 5 are reserved for people using wheelchairs and 5 are for companion seats. 20 portable seats can be added for a total of 300 seats.   
 
Wheelchair and limited mobility seating is available at both ends of Row G.

The diagram shows: 

  • Each row has a letter assigned to it, starting with "C" in the front, continuing through "L" for the back row
  • Each seat is assigned a number
  • There is no aisle in the middle
  • Odd-numbered seats start in the center and extend left
  • Even-numbered seats start in the center and extend right 

Rules and access

  • Smoking is not allowed
  • People who arrive late will be seated at a time chosen by the artist
  • The Bartolini Art Gallery is open to the public during events, but we recommend you visit when there isn’t an event happening.
